Terms of service

1. Who you are contracting with

opointo is operated by booqend pty ltd (ACN 700 133 786), a company registered in Australia (“we”, “us”). Our registered office is on the public ASIC register, searchable by that ACN. By subscribing or using the service you agree to these terms.

Payments are taken by Lemon Squeezy, not by us. Lemon Squeezy LLC acts as Merchant of Record and is the seller for your transaction. They handle payment, invoicing and any sales tax, VAT or GST. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself; these terms cover the service you are paying for.

2. Plans and billing

The subscription is priced per seat, in US dollars: $25 per seat per month, or $240 per seat per year when billed annually. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

The price you subscribe at is the price you keep for as long as that subscription stays active. If we change our prices, the change applies to new subscriptions only. Cancelling ends the subscription, so subscribing again later is at the price current at that time.

A seat is one developer. We do not currently enforce seat counts technically, which is not an invitation to under-report them: buying fewer seats than the people using the service is a breach of these terms.

3. What your licence grants

While your subscription is active you may download components, use the App Builder, use the paid build tools, and receive updates.

The paid build tools are metered. The allowance is 500 units per subscriber per day, reckoned in UTC days. Tools cost different amounts, the largest being a whole app export, so the allowance is on the order of fifty app exports in a day. An identical call repeated inside fifteen minutes is counted once. The free lookup tools are not metered at all: asking a question never costs a unit. The cap exists to stop a runaway loop rather than to ration real work, so if you reach it doing ordinary work, contact us.

Code you export is licensed to you perpetually and irrevocably. You may use it in unlimited applications, commercial or otherwise, for yourself or for a client, and you may modify it freely. That licence survives cancellation, termination, and any change to these terms or to our pricing.

4. Accounts and saved projects

You do not need an account to design in the App Builder. If you create one, you sign in through Google, GitHub or Facebook, and keeping that sign-in secure is your responsibility. What we collect and keep for an account is set out in our privacy policy.

Saving projects to your account is currently free for everyone who signs in. We may make it part of the subscription later; if we do, you will still be able to open and delete the projects you already saved. An account holds up to 100 projects. We take care of what you save, but it is a convenience, not a backup service: keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose, and remember that exported code lives in your own repository.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting it erases your saved projects at once and cannot be undone. It does not cancel a subscription, which you cancel with Lemon Squeezy (section 6), and it does not affect code you have already exported, which is yours under section 3.

5. What you may not do

You may not redistribute the components as components. Specifically, you may not republish, resell or give away the source we supply as a component library, template, theme, UI kit or starter kit, whether modified or not, and whether for payment or for free. You may not use it to build a product whose primary purpose competes with opointo.

The line is straightforward: ship applications, not our catalog. An app you build that happens to contain our components is exactly what the licence is for. A repository of our components is not.

You may not share a licence key outside your organisation, or attempt to circumvent the registry, the licence check, or usage limits on the tools.

6. What cancelling does, precisely

You can cancel at any time and keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. See our cancellation and refund policy for refunds.

Applications you have already exported keep working. Forever, unchanged, offline. The exported code contains no licence check and never contacts us. We have no technical ability to disable it and we will not acquire one.

After a subscription ends:

• New and updated component downloads stop working.
• The App Builder’s paid features lock.
• You stop receiving platform updates as iOS and Android move.
• The paid build tools on our MCP server stop working. The free lookup tools keep working, because they are free for everyone.

7. What you need in order to build

Building an iOS app requires a Mac running Xcode 26. This is a requirement, not a limitation we are working around: real iOS 26 system controls cannot be compiled anywhere else, and your own database, authentication and payment integrations will pull in native work regardless.

iOS is our primary target, and Android is supported natively too: Liquid Glass on iOS, Material 3 Expressive on Android. They are different design languages on purpose, so your app will not look the same on both, and where a platform has no system control for something, the component is our own, built in that platform’s style. We would rather say so here than have you discover it after paying.

8. Changes to the service

The catalog, the App Builder and the tools change over time, and components may be revised, renamed or retired as the platforms move. This does not affect code you have already exported, which is yours under section 3.

We may change these terms. If a change materially reduces what you get, we will tell subscribers by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel. Price changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the components will suit a particular purpose. You are responsible for testing what you ship.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under it. Where we are permitted to limit liability, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, in particular section 5. Termination does not affect your perpetual licence to code you had already exported.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
